Separate ad spend from service costs
Ad spend pays the advertising platform to deliver your campaign. Adsmith applies one blended management rate to the week’s total spend on covered campaigns. The rate starts at 10%, decreases linearly between the published volume milestones, and stays at 5% from $1 million per week. See the current milestones. Paid creative generation is separate. Optional White Glove adds $1,000 per month for expert human management. These are different parts of the budget, so compare tools using the same scope.
See a simple monthly example
At $100 a day, the calculator uses a 30-day month: $3,000 of ad spend, $300 of campaign fees, and a suggested $150 creative allowance. That gives a planning total of $3,450 before any applicable taxes, without White Glove. Actual calendar-month spend can differ. Try your own budget in the calculator.
Understand the creative allowance
The suggested creative allowance is half the applicable management fee rate: 5% of media spend when the management rate is 10%, falling to 2.5% when it is 5%. This is a planning suggestion, not a mandatory subscription or a promise that every month will use exactly that amount. An additional image-only draft costs $5; a draft with video costs $10 total, including its images. Paid draft fees are incurred when generated, even if the draft is not used in a live campaign. The calculator estimates quantities using a video-first mix.
Start with what your business can afford to learn
There is no Adsmith minimum ad spend, subject to platform and campaign requirements. Choose a budget you can sustain while checking the quality of the leads or purchases it produces. Your average sale value, margins, conversion rate, and sales cycle all affect whether a campaign is worthwhile. There is no universal daily budget that guarantees useful results.
Know what is free and when charges stop
Initial onboarding drafts are included without payment details or an obligation to continue. Payment is needed to launch campaigns or generate additional paid drafts. Campaign fees apply only while covered campaigns run, including derived campaigns that remain running after you stop using Adsmith. Stop a campaign and no further campaign fees accrue on it while stopped. Previously incurred fees remain payable; White Glove renews monthly until cancelled under the Terms.
Increase spend after measuring the outcome
A larger budget is useful when the campaign is bringing outcomes your business can afford. Confirm tracking and lead quality, allow for your sales cycle, and review acquisition economics before scaling. Read the scaling checklist rather than relying on clicks alone.
